Ive been taking a lot of crap for doing this so why stop now right?
I traded in my 99 Mustang GT convertible for this 2009 Toyota Corolla S. It has 19,500 miles on it and a 7 year 100,000 mile warranty.
It was kind of a impulse decision. But anyhoo....
much better than a convertable poopstang ........ your not the only one tho. i've been thinking of trading or selling my custom 03 dodge ram for something small with better mpg.... but i will prob never sell my 600hp civic
Dude. . . . Didn't see that coming! So I guess you got everything worked out with the intake on the GT?
Not really, thats why I got pissed off and traded it.
Lol. So you traded it broken? Please tell me the coolant passage wasn't JB Welded...
Nah it still leaked coolant through the new seal right under the thermostat housing. Not real bad but still... But then it started surging once it got up to temperature. I was just tired of dealing with it. The dealership has the know how and the tools to fix it.
Its just been one thing after another. A car like this is what I really needed to begin with anyway.
Not really, thats why I got pissed off and traded it. But it works out a lot better and I think it was a good move on my part. Much more practical and better for long drives.

Ahh. I gotcha. Well this girl on the next street over in my neighborhood just bought one a few months ago too. I kind of have to agree with John's first FB comment, too.
i guess you still had the intake with the plastic crossover. you can find the aluminum ones pretty cheap usually.
Yeah I got the redesigned one but evidently I didnt get the new seal on right or something.
hrmm, never heard of that problem. but your happy now and thats all that matters. just make sure the gas pedal is ok in the yota..
As if WOT in that car is something to be afraid of. . . . . . I'm sorry Brandon. That's probably the last comment I'll make. . . . Maybe.
