My Very Slow Build

Eric had a beautiful gsxr 1100 that he turbocharged ln the early 1990's .. Single throttle body plenum too, used a GM throttle body . And gear based boost control which used carburetor Jets to bleed off boost .. He wouldn't tell me how it sensed gear position though .. We were all curious to know how he managed that .. The bike was ultimately stolen if I remember correctly ..
That was incarnation #1
#2 went to a Motorcycle UFO Ultimate Flying Object competition where Nick Inatch(sp) rode and tested all the bikes
Yup he know NOTHING about turbos

4 prostreet turbo bikes built versus 1000's of blower bikes......... im not sure why allll the butthurt at my earlier comment. ya cant win.... no matter what when ure honest.
1000's of blower bikes? Not sure about all that, but he probably has had his hand in more than anyone else for bigger HP applications.
Eric has worked with plenty of turbos, from mild street Harley's to turbo LSR and HP shootout bikes.

Hi. I pressed out the sprocket studs now I orded Ti ones from SAE Outlar Perfomance there goes $121.00. They weighted 40 grams each so new ones 24 grams each. So should save about 3.4 ozs.

Be sure they are the correct length for your sprocket carrier. There is more than one length that have been installed by Marvic, and I have seen multiple instances where replacement Ti studs from SAE have been the shorter version.

Hi. Not a big deal but a little weight savings. I just ordered the 20 bolts that hold the RCC ULTRA 1000 togather in purple Ti. Also in Ti bolts to hold the fuel rail and 8 bolts to hold the braces to hold down the Ultra also in purple Ti. Also some ARP lube to use on all of the bolts.

Hi. Well I put my nane on a AIM Dash from DME. They are no instock yet.
So I'm gonna echo something @ali123 said in this thread a long time ago and tell you to go get a loan or credit card and finish this thing cause it's driving me nuts    . On a serious side of that comment don't we have anyone around the org that does enough social media they could maybe throw up a go find me for this build? We need to see this thing done and Michael riding around on it with an ear to ear grin. @michael parris heuberger didn't you post somewhere that someone had a go find me setup for you and this build? If so you need get us that info so we can spread it around and see if we can't get you a little something towards it.

Hi. I have $42,000.00 set aside for the bike. Everything takes so long to get parts. When I get things in like the wheeles they had to be sent out to have custom adapter made to fit the speed sensors. DME has the hot side of the turbo being made. DAS has the cold side being made. It is everything takes for ever. I have built many bike over a winter. Bought and rebuild a Lola T142 F5000 car in 1 year and raced it. Work and life gets in the way too sometimes. Like this the phone has to catch up to post this. My daughter was helping to setup a go find me pages BUT her work ang life keep getting in the way too.
