Hi. A 100% street legal bike. It will look like an XDA.Are you going to have all of the extra fairings like Bill Werner or are you going to have a street looking bike?
Hi. No no mew pics yet I am waiting for my frame mods to be done short neck moving up the swingarm pivot up 12mm's and Total Seal pistons rings and my Marvic rear wheel from DME. Hi. @ ottafish no I will have to drill and tape 2 holds in the base oil pan to put them in. They are to heat the oil and motor before start up. This is kind of F1 tech. It is because I will run VP M1. Eric at DAS uses them on his supercharger XDA bike. It is not because we run the clearances so tight that it will not even turn over when cold.Glow Plugs?
But they run them because they run a dry block and can not warm the oil to temp by running the bike long enoughHi. @ ottafish no I will have to drill and tape 2 holds in the base oil pan to put them in. Hi. @202mphbusa. Eric said I should because of the VP M1But they run them because they run a dry block and can not warm the oil to temp by running the bike long enough
Oil preheater is not a bad idea but on a wet block unless you are running STUPID valve lift or compression and can't just run the motor to warm it
I don't feel it's needed. Plus more BS for me to bring to the track
Hi. I will be putting it togather this April. At Ricks. When does the build start?
What is left to bench assemble the motor?
I would warm it on GasolineHi. @202mphbusa. Eric said I should because of the VP M1
