My Very Slow Build

I would go the 6.75 inch rim ,even my Busa runs a 6.25 inch rim and me ZX14R runs a 6.625 inch rim .
Hi. The Michilin Power Cup 2 tire will be in next week. You are not to let the .go below 41 degrees it will hurt it may be make it Crack or some thing. So now it looks like I will be sleeping with my battery and no my tire too. I wonder hope my new girlfriend will like sharing the bed now. LOL I am bad but not that bad it will only be in the bedroom. Now all of my parts are in the side room. If I could get the bike in the house I would keep in side. May be my next house right in the living room.

Sounds like your bed is pretty crammed bro , hope this new girl of yours understands and is okay with your motorcycle obsession . You can tell her , we all think she is a great gal , for pairing up with our number one living legend bike builder , and also accepting your possibly , slightly , annoying storage system .

Hi. On the 6.25 busa how close does the chain run to the tire? Same on the ZX14 hoe close?. I have to decide soon as I need the wheel because they come with different hubs at random you can get 1 with a10mm X 27.5mm X1.25 or one with 10mmX 33.5 X 1.25. Drive stud kit from SAE Outlaw Performance they are Ti I am also getting stator and starter bolt kit and a Ti air shifter bolt and I am looking for any thing in Ti bolts for my MTC G2 clutch with the air assist. If he does not may be he can make me some stuff.

The Busa has 13mm clearance roughly , running 530 EK chain and Bridgestone RS10 200/55 , I run Corse Dynamics Ti cush drive bolts , Grade5 ti with rolled threads and Kfactory M series super light sprocket . 6.25 inch BST

The ZX14R has a little over 10mm clearance , it runs 530 EK chain , Bridgeston RS11 200/55 with Corse Dynamics Ti cush drive bolts and Ceracarbon ceramic / carbon sprocket . 6.625 inch BST

Probably , maybe , Not 900 bhp !!! . Used in World Superbike , Moto GP and racers around the world , so pretty tuff to 300 hp ? Of note , the Busa duralium sprocket is a 47t , compared to the 42t on the 14R , and the Busa sprocket is lighter . Forgot to mention , that ZX14R swingarm is wider than the Busa item .

Hi. Do you have the weight of each? I just go the new rear if is 34 teeth combined with the 20 front and the overdrive 5th and 6th gears. And a 200/ 55/17 tire.

You mean sprockets ? I got the Ceracarbon 42t @ 388.9 grams and got a KFactory M 45t @ 358grams , haven't actually got a weight on the 47t handy . Your 39 t Vortex will be light , maybe close to the two I weights I give you , but the standard Vortex in either size is heavier by a chunk , I just dont remember by how much .

Hi. I tried to look up Kzfactory M sprockets I could not find who sells them.

Michael- your build is amazing but you just don’t need to spend money on a lot of this custom stuff. Get the bike assembled and make some passes in the 400-500whp range to shake it down. Once you get more comfortable then worry about 600-900+. You might end up scaring yourself long before you get anywhere close to that power level. No need to spend $200k+ when $80k will get more than started just on your goal.
