Naked Busa claims 248+ mph... Possible?

You can quickly reach a point where speed is achieved more easily by improving
aerodynamics rather than adding horsepower.

Say you need 150hp to do 200mph
then you need 816 hoto do 272mph
and that is with fairing.

do i smell something?

i lived in europe for 3 years my son was born there and i was married there.

people here are not the way you describe them.
they have a simple idea behind their reasoning

so saying that it did something and showing that it did somthing is two diffrent things

He didn't post the picture you moron, I did. The guy in the picture is Patrik Fürstenhoff, and almost everyone knows that he is Ghost Rider. Even the Sweedish police know hes Ghost Rider. Its just proving hes Ghost Rider thats the hard bit. Because to prove who Ghost Rider really is they would have to catch him in the act. It doesnt take a brain surgeon to figure out why he masked his voice etc when he was on German TV, if he hadnt have done he might aswell just go to the police station and hand himself in.:blush:

2. Did you know that we use a public road that goes through south Sweden, as a runway for military aircrafts during war? These roads are extreemly wide, straight, long and they make frequent checkups for bumps etc?
I think not.
By the way, its not the size of a ordinary runway, its huge! Extreemly long, cut into section which got low radius turns.

They also close these "runways" off for events, including military exercises as there are roads around it...

I remember hearing that, so that at least explains the "well sort of Runways".

I don't think anyone is really trying to sling mud, so much as just trying to get facts straight. Most everyone has heard of GhostRider so when this thread shows up with claims about 270+mph it gets attention. I don't think anyone really wants to start a rumble, they just want proof. How could you not? 272 is freaking amazing... if it's true... But just like if I started claiming 9.0 sec 1/4s the first thing everyone is going to want to see is pictures of the event and a timeslip, even my closest internet buddies here are going to call BS until I prove it.

So basically, present some sort of evidence, hard proof, or just drop it until proof can be had. It would be Awesome to have a Busa Top 270, freaking amazing, talk about being the true king of speed. I think everyone here would love for it to be true, but concrete proof is whats needed.

Anyway, instead of everyone blathering on about "Sweden is so cool this" and "American's have such a narrow view of the world" Bullshit why not step back and relax until real evidence can be presented...
