In Chris Espree's defense I can honestly say that I never had a problem getting a hold of him on the phone. He and I talk for at least 30-45 mins when we do. He's doing alot of work for me as we speak and as soon I get it back I will post pictures. Espree is a layed back kind of person. He's down to earth and does the work for the love of the bike not for money. He's had my parts since late December also, but I told him from day one I wasnt in a rush and to take his time. I know he's busy and he has customers in other areas of the country where they ride year round. I wanted him to put their parts before mine so they can ride. You cant get Espree's prices or craftsmanship anywhere and it was his quality and recommendations from this site that made me go to him. In fact he's giving me some unreal breaks in hopes that it will bring him more business. I can see how someone would be upset about him having their parts that long but he was probably under the impression you weren't in a rush. He's not your average business man either, he's just a talented dude who's doing this as a favor to make our bikes look good and it lets him pursue his passion. It allows him to put a few dollars in his pocket but thats not his motive. I cant wait 'til you see what he's doing for me. I'm going to take a ton of pics and you guys will be floored.

Dont slander a man until you give him a chance to correct your grievance.

He has a point there Vince and you did say Chris would make it right for free , so give'm another chance at his expense. Hopefully, Chris will be able to get them back to you before spring.

Keep us in the loop on how this turns out, Vince .

Actually i told him i am in no rush first time we spoked.
Thats why i bought these set of inners in EBAY.I think three
months is resonable but the workmanship SUCKS..
After three months this is what he has to show for???

I have reread this and have to believe there is more to the story. I don't know all about Chris, in fact, have only known him for a few months but I don't think he would send something to you that looked like that as a finished product. '
Also, you said you had difficulty getting through to him, but you called when you received them and got a hold of him. One time have I had difficulty getting in touch with him and there was a good reason why. I could pick up the phone at anytime and get him on the line and just got off the phone with him. I will agree that he doesn't respond to his e-mail which is why I always call. I believe that since you haven't paid anything for them that you should send him back and let him finish the job. If there is more to the story I would appreciate hearing about it because he has some more stuff of mine that he is working on.

I think I,d just go elsewhere, and install the FREE gear indicator. But if you don,t want the indicator, send me a PM, and I,ll buy it from you.

Hey Johnny let me take a crack at fixing them, you've seen some of the work I produce. In fact I may be interested in the ground piece you got interested in trading any? Mick

You know i wondered about that too.I think the extra parts
are to make me happy to compensate for the crappy paint
job...The under belly who knows its damaged anyways.
So go figure...

that looks like the guy sprayed those in his garage. That is alot of trash in that paint. that needs to be sanded and reshot. What ever you do, do not pay this guy that is bullsh@t. You don't send someones plastic back like that you can not even put that on your bike. I have a paint shop and I would fire the guy who did that.

Go somewhere else, thats not cool! I found the carbon fiber ones at $85 bucks each piece. OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC.

Yeah, he does not do e-mail! I tried to get in touch with him that way in the beginning as I didn't have his phone number. I think I am also a believer that there are 2 sides to every story. Don't want to turn this into a back and forth thing, but I do think there is more to this. Here's a pic of a set he did for me and the pic doesn't do it justice. Granted it is the single color, but it is very clean, smooth and clearcoated. Wish I had more, but I'm having some other stuff done to the bike and these haven't even been put on yet.
