Hey I really appreciate the offer but mine cleaned up pretty well and I had two local guys here that paint look at it and they both agree that it is an easy fix. It did not crack and the rash is not very deep. I am having it painted this weekend. My buddy is only charging me the cost of paint to do the whole bike if I help peel stickers, lol. He does auto body repair, paint, etc... The tight circle of racers are amazing. Many, including here on the net like you have been a tremendous blessing. I appreciate the offer but I should be OK. Thanks anyway. Take care

Well, we are making progress! I have a pic of the original fairing with the some damage and another pic of the first coat of paint after all the prep work was done. These are with no clear coat or wet sanding yet! Sorry for the low quality pics. This was in the shed at night with my phone! I will get some pics of the bike in black when we are done. Oh yeah, went and bought frame sliders, and full leathers also! Thanks

Ok, here is what we look like now before the final wet sand, buff, and polish! I still put her together prior to finishing in case I get any scratches putting everything back together (which I did). I will through my Kanjis on the side after it is sanded. Thanks

Wow, I should not post at 1am, lol. I meant that I would throw my stickers on after we wet sand her!
