Not gonna lie. I have been a little more than a little distracted on the new wing. Transmission is a thing of beauty. The downsizing I do understand, but I wish it kept it's bags larger. It's as smooth as owl chyt and has the tech we all spend lots to get on the aftermarket.

I've been considering one for years , but wanted the kinks worked out . Now all issues have been addressed by either Honda or aftermarket . It is very much still a BIG motorcycle , but handles very well even with a flat spot rear tire . Wife's 900 GT has far more punch in roll on performance . The Big Wing 6th gear is very over driven
with 700 plus rpms between 5th to 6th . 70 mph in 6th is 2300 rpms so its week in roll on . Also the new wing you can not start out in 2nd any more . the ratio has changed , and the bike stalls every time . The old model you could start in 2nd with zero issues .
Creature comforts are nice , and no heat off the bike in 91 degree afternoon I was fine in paddle foot traffic or on freeway . I'm probably going to buy one in a few years . ITs more fun to pick up my son a few hundred miles away on the bike than cage , and this would be comfort for us both . Also my wife may ride with me again since its very hard to wheelie ;)

I know a guy who went from his beloved ST1300 to a new Wing and really loves the Wing much better.

He used to rant about how much he loved his ST until he got the Wing....it's the same color as the one you were riding too.

He can't understand how I can ride a bike like mine.
