I'm 6'4" 280lbs and started on a 600f2, which I'm happy about.Sure I really dont "fit"on it but its forgiving nature has saved my &ss a few times. I really dont think I personally could have handled the busa properly or safely because I had ZERO exp on a bike. Ultimately, only you know what you can handle. I'm glad I started on the 6, I think I'll enjoy the Busa more. I get mine this spring

Oh, lol, not sure if this helps me at all but when i was younger i raced downhill mountian bikes for about 12years. But im glad to see you guys dont tear up the new guys. Thanks for making me feel welcome, i feel priveldged being part of your site.

Indeed.  Most everyone here treats the others as they'd like to be treated.  Sure, there are some  

occasions for  

but it's mostly good spirited.

Anyway, good luck with your decision.

As has been previously mentioned, respect the throttle, as with anything, and you should be o.k.  Rest assured, however, that you'll be spoiled rotten by the 'busa and everything else will seem like, well, prey.  Everything.
