Hey all... My first Busa
Little history, been riding sport bikes for 27yrs now, wanted a Busa since it's inception but always went the litre of 750 route. Been a track guy for yrs, been on track with the likes of Hayden Brothers, John Hopkins in the old Aprilia 250 challange days among others... Ive had bikes like Bimota, RC45, RC30 and had a close friend that hooked me up with Eraldo Feracci and had to race prepped Ducatis from him, biggest highlight of my riding days was spending the day with Josh Herrin and Luca Scassa at Jennings on my MV spending getting real seat time following these guys around the track and learning suspension setup among other things from these guys.

Was out of motorcycle completely for the past 9 yrs when I married the woman of my dreams and was completely against bikes... Last week she gave me the OK, I'm older now, won't do the stupid things I did then so I sold my ZL1 and my ZO6 (cars have always just been a distraction to me) and began a search. Came down to a BMW m series or a fireblade I found at a dealership untouched and of course the Busa. At 50 now the Busa just felt right... So I grabbed the bike that eluded me for 20+ yrs... Now I'm ready to learn about this beast!!!
OH... 22' Busa in white!!

Welcome along . . .well, the Busa will feel like a tank at first, the weight difference and slow turn-in etc will be a big difference to what you have been riding all those years!
But you will appreciate the Busa for the massive grunt and the roominess of it, it's the perfect sport tourer bike ever.
You will not look back . . oh except for flashing lights lol.
Enjoy the forum, we are a decent bunch here.

Welcome from Florida as well! You at bought the best color!! Nowhere near the experience that you have but I too had my share of bikes and do so miss my GSXR750!

Welcome to the .org! Glad you were finally able to get the bike of your dreams. We have a rule about pics here though, so . . . :poke:

Welcome to the forum and Busa family! :welcome:

Great group of people here and every mod you can think of available for these bikes. Let us know if we can help.

:beerchug:

Welcome! Same here, after 3yrs of not being on 2 wheels I finally got back on one. I bought my Gen3 used with 510 miles and the previous owner told me his wife gave the OK, then a month or 2 later changed her mind, lol. I wasn't sure if it was a BS story or not, but after meeting with him I'm pretty sure he was the truth.

On a side note, my daily is a '18 ZL1. Best daily I've owned, not counting the busa. They're on par with each other for being my daily.
