I went shopping for a 600 and after sitting on a few I rode out the door on a zx11 for my first bike.

Yes hehe, I do wear pants. I've always been a firm "ATGATT" type of guy. Sweat is easier to wash than exposed skin. The heat thing though, I'm still trying to get used to. It's great for the winter time down here in Texas, but I'm more worried about summer.

man that's a big bike to start out on have you had any accidents/ near misses that would have been avoided if on a smaller displacement bike?

Hey welcome and yes this bike is silky smooth especially in 6 gear on the highway at 70mph and also plenty of power. Thats one fine machine you have,treat her well.
