Really depends on how cold of weather you are willing to ride in. Here as soon as the roads are clear of ice people are out riding and then the season ends when it gets to freezing so 3-5 months.

Well for me, in summer of 08' I started riding in the end of April. Then I stored my baby in the second week of October. So April, May, June, July, August, September, October. 1st month was half, October was half......so about 6 months and last summer SUCKED. This year is supposed to be much warmer, yet n still I managed to put in over 7000 miles last summer. Multiple trips to Fairbanks, Kenai, Homer, Seward, Wasilla not to mention a ride out to Girdwood almost everyday. I cant wait til this summer!

Beautiful bike my friend... I would of died to find that bike 6 months ago when I had the money... before you paint it you should get some black cans would looks simply amazing... maybe enough to make you wanna keep the color... be safe and have fun !
