Sold my Hindle Which did work great and bought A Ti Force, hope it works better. It cost one **** load of money even at dealer cost.Go to try MTC's new clutch part's,I just got the clutch mod working good we'll see I geuss.

Spazman, you'll LOVE your Ti-force pipe. According to the research I did it has the most low end and smoothest power curve of all the pipes I looked at. Also a match for anything in midrange and top end power too!

Sold hindle for ti-force?
You must like the looks cause thats all that'll change.

Hey SPAZ. Well, I really do want to know what kind of pipe Omega has. Just curious. Figured a little sarcasim would get an answer. So what kind of pipe DO you have Omega? Spaz, having such a smooth power curve makes the Ti-Force easier to tune than pipes that have big dips or spikes in their powere curve. Im sure you'll be more than happy with it. Supertuner touched on this a while back. Maybe if he has time he'll give you some input. He was helpful to me but I ended up getting the Akrapovic with Ti canister. I called Orient Express and ordered a catalog, and I waited and waited and no catalog. The Ti-Force was the only pipe I did not have info on but I was sure I wanted either the Ti or Akra. I just wanted some hard evidence on the TI-Force. One of the salesman tried several times to e-mail me a dyno chart in a format I could get open on my computer but I just couldn't get it to open. He was very nice and it sure wasn't his fault that I chose the Akra. I just got impatiant. So I got the Akra,PC2,front and rear Pit Bull stands and aluminium spools all in one order and installed everything pronto. During the install I went to "Pink Prestone",Mobil 1 MX4T, and a new oil filter of course removed the p.a.i.r. valve installing JC's block off plates. I also installed new p.a.i.r. gaskets and exhaust gaskets[Suzuki gaskets]. I have been experimenting with mapping [working with the 006 map] and finally got the very bottom end,at 0 to 5% throttle opening to run as good as it did stock. Quite an acomplishment I think. It was the only part of the map I didnt like. Now it runs JUST like it did stock except it has more power everywhere. It has just as flat power curve as stock. It also runs cooler with the flushing of the coolant system and the new antifreeze. About 2 needles under the halfway line all the time. I never here the fan run. Anyway I feel that the Ti-Force would have been even easier to tune and will get one soon to see. I think you made the right choice, let me know what you think when you get it installed. And to quote lantabusa, Its a HAPPY Blue,uh I mean, Red Baby!

Warbird, I really don't think you'll see much of a performane difference between the Ti-Force & Akr.

Heres a quick note...

ALL the maps made for the pw2 on the Dyno-Jet site are made for fuel economy. What makes it so good to have the TI-Force is that Orient Express Makes A LOT of Maps for this pipe. Thats a huge advantage over every pipe out there!

AND, Skip works real well with everyone that buys one of these Ti pipes.

Now thats interesting about Orient, Frank. I didnt know they had maps too. I would have bought the Ti first if I wasnt impatiant. I have dyno charts on both overlaid and they are almost identical. The exception being the Ti-Force is above stock from idle to 4500 and the Akra is below stock from idle to 4500 rpm. Those runs were with stock ecm. I have that worked out now. It just would'nt run as clean as stock at very slight throttle openings. Unfortunatly when I am in town that is where I ride most of the time. VERY slight throttle opening from idle to 3500 rpm. Its right now though and Im real happy. Just like a stock exhaust only more power everywhere. I will buy the Force pipe though. And should be procuring a Dyno Jet 250 within a few months. Dont forget you live close by so we can try to wear it out if you like. I can have it for less than the price of a new car or truck AND make money with it so why not? See Ya!

You think they have some quality maps Motor? Im sure they do, its always nice to get your opinion though. I figured you wouldn't be on the boards for a while with the turbo having come in. You know I'm a real dog dont you? I cant wait to here the goods and bads[if there are any bads] after the turbo is on,THEN after you have any bugs worked out and I hear you say its just right, Ill get mine! Not until! And do you think I should try the Harv map with my Akra? I still have to get a box from ya man!

Hey guys. lanta Im in Kentucky at 500 feet above sea level. Omega thats a nice pipe huh? Which canister do you have? I hope my long drawn out posts on octane wern't mistaken. I also use 93. Chevron or BP here in Kentucky are real popular. Carburetion is something most people dont know much about, even when they think they do. Gone are the days when you go to the shop, buy your pipe and the parts guy tells you "Go up 2 sizes on the main jet and she'll be just right!" Octane also plays an important role in tuning but I think trying to explain in those posts was a waste of time. I really want to get my "250" as soon as possible and become a tuning center, as I think it is MUCH easier to show people results on paper than to try and explain the fine art of air/fuel ratio's. Sure hope to get together with you guys and do some tuning, bench racing and riding. The roads are absolutly beautiful here for riding the busa's. Curves, long straights, whatever you want. All with a VERY mimimum of traffic and law enforcement. [very safe here]. We can take a video camera and hand held radar gun and have a blast!

Later,
WARBIRD

Frank,I'll be on it all week. Hopefuly get something done ASAP. Motor,I'm using the 006 with table 3 tweaks, it just wouldn't run crisp at very slight throttle openings from idle to about 3000 rpm. Runs great now,Im real happy. Need your box but wife asks why I spend all the money on pipe,ect... if Im gonna get the turbo. MAN I hope you LOVE yours. Can't wait for results!

WARBIRD, if you get a 250, get one quick! I'll have Busa's lined up at your door like you wouldn't believe. The faster you get one of those Dyno's the better off you'll be cause the season is getting closer to the end.

I wish you had it now, because I wouldn't be typing this, I would be at your place.

Try that HARV map, it couldn't hurt.

frank dont ya think harv is a little rich for no box mod? I'd say 006...

.01

lantabusa, if you & I had the same mods done to our bike that doesn't mean there going to run the same with the same pw2 map.

As easy as it is to install maps into the pw2...I'm just telling WARBIRD to try it.

It can't hurt to try.

True, true. Also where you're at makes a diff. gixxer1300 and I are about the same mod-wise, I had to richen up mid and top from his 007NICK---he's in Orlando, I'm in Lanta. Altitude plays a bigger part than folks realize sometimes I think.

WARBIRD where are you?

Warbird, I run the muzzy full ti on my bike as frank said and am very happy with it.
Motorhead runs the same set up and can verify that there are no dips in the curve.
Also after listening to scores of posts about the octane rating bullshit I decided to try a tank of 89.
Never again will I make that mistake.
