would it actually make sense to write a summarized manual e.g. for the Corvette of all years of construction from for instance ´56 - ´90?
I don't think so - besides, there is hardly any such summary.

it is not for nothing that there are a total of 6 supplements (extensions) for the gen1 ,
for the gen2 the ´08 mainbook + 9 extensions til ´17
and
then there should be a separate / new book for the gen3 soon.
why the heck didn´t suzuki write one book for all?
because it won´t fit / can never be as nuanced and precise as it needs to be.
but haynes shows that arrogance to describe 2 (or basically 3) types
gen 1 / gen without abs / gen2 with abs of busas
in one single book ???
