I took my camera with the hopes of taking pictures during the process of installing these things but that didnt happen like i wanted it to. I simply forgot to take pictures at some key moments during the install. Josh was gracious enough to come in on his day off and install these for me!! He is a top notch kind of guy and i would recommend him to anyone. This all happend last weekend so i'm a little late posting these up...
Here is the prep.. up on the lift...
he used a laser pointer attached to a (i think it was a laser level) to keep it from moving to mark where the engine mount bolts where.
Reinstalled the plastic and turned the laser back on to mark the first hole to be drilled... this is where i starting getting light headed and couldnt remember to take pictures at a regular basis for obvious reasons... taped the area up that was to be drilled and here is the aftermath...
This is Josh trying to break the engine mount bolt loose to install the base of the Vortex slider... wasnt gonna happen with the girly man torque he was applying...
So he broke out the big guns... AIR TOOLS! However, this mount bolt didnt want to come out... attempt two...
Attempt three...
He eventually gave up and went next door to the automotive guy and borrowed one of his BIG air guns and then it came right out... the other side went much the same way... after all the fun he had drilling holes in someone elses bike and me having to keep from going crazy from getting holes drilled in my bike... i again didnt get the finished shots until today.
