It was "line up the laser to the hole where the slider goes... then mount the plastics and drill a small hole where the laser is. Then drill a 2" hole"

My buddy at www.xxtuning.com got me the shocker sticker.

Well, the left side was another story. I am not totally pleased with how it came out and I can't figure out why the hole was slightly off. Basically the hole was too far forward, so I had to dremel the back-side of the hole to make it more of an oval. It looks ok when you are standing up looking down at the bike. Maybe I can fit some sort of black rubber on the inside to fill in the gap. But overall I'm happy, next time I would use a smaller hole saw, and then dremel it out slowly.

I also spaced the left side out about 3/4" of an inch to make the slider stick out like the right side. I think it may need another 1/4" but I'll address that next time the panel is off. Oh, and my coolant tank wasn't bolted in - whats up with that??? I never had the panel off before, and when I took it off the coolant tank just "fell" out.

Don't worry they all come out looking like that (0val) when going straight in on a slanted surface...looks good. Used the laser myself.
