Oh damn...sorry to get back to you so late, thrash. My bad...
The rebuild is coming along slowly but surely. I have a tail section and a front fender coming in, I have an upper fairing stay that's lined up to be purchased, I already have a subframe and now I just need to get some other parts.
Looks like it's coming along fine...slowly, but fine. I wish I could get there sooner, but yeah..."other-wordly" matters are getting the best of me and my bank account. I'm somewhat excited, but I'm trying to stay focused. I still need a number of parts, but it's just a matter of getting the cash flow going again.
Thanks for asking, bro! If you like the black, you're gonna drool over the new design I have lined up for it. Let's just say that it's gonna be a custom job that I haven't seen anything similar to. Very nice one-of-a-kind things.
And as for the healing...well, it's almost done. My palm is still fugged up...the meat underneath is still trying to attach to skin on top, so I really can't put much pressure on it. I'd say it's about 90% healed. The rest of the battle wounds have healed as well, so that's a good thing.
Now the only thing left to heal is the psyche. I still get abig dull knot in my stomach when I try to recall what happened that day.

From personal experience, that knot in you stomach will lessen, but it will never go away...especially when the scenario replays itself like mine does when I see a "left turner". It wasn't so much the being airborne that I didn't like, as it was the suck-ass landing. Good Luck to ya PAC! Have a smooth one.
