Ya I just checked the extended weather forecast again, amazing how it changes daily, I think there lucky if they get it right a day in advance.

Hey Kent (and everybody), I just talked to the Mgr. of Grizzley Creek Lodge, Portola and she says the roads are fine w/b including 70 and 89!
so maybe Quincy on Sunday is doable. Doyle

Doyle, most all of the main roads are open but not this one, not yet, BUT we MUST ride the lower half, it is just too good to pass up. We got about half way to quincy and ran into the snow line on this un cleared road. They usually plow it all the way thru a few days before memorial day as campers & boaters ... head for Bucks Lake. Probly will just come back down and ride over to hwy 70 to point ya toward home.

Sunday ride will depart about 10 am from Chico about 3-4 hr rt. Kinda depends how everyone feels after saturdays ride I guess.

That would be great...the guy I'm bringing along is not that experienced and will not be pushing the envelope so to speak. So I will hang back with him, but really looking forward to this...just wish I could come down for all three days.
