Bump this puppy up, we ain't done talking yet. Tomorrow morn (Sat.) I'm going to put my ft wheel back on, install my new torque arm, and prep it to ride. Next Tues and Wed I'm going to an overnight seminar at a lodge in Portola, CA so that'll be the 1st real test ride of the season and just in time for the Mini Busa Bash/West Coast one day after that! Doyle, Bill Reserved a room at the Motel 6 about 3 weeks ago, he's goin up on Friday so that he will be fresh for Saturday's ride, I'm still contemplating doing the same since you and Bill will be there Friday, I have definetly decided to stay over Saturday night and join the Sunday ride as well, now I just gotta find a larger tank bag to carry a few more things, by the way I got a new Qualifer mounted on the rear today and tossed the one with the nail puncture.

Now theres two great Cali rides and I can't make either of them. This really sucks.

I'll be riding tomorrow (saturday) on either 36 or 162 to kinda scout what the latest road condition is... Too bad we arent havin it this wknd the waether was perfect today and even a lil warmer tomorrow. BUT next week so far looks ok unless things change it on one weather site is says suppose to be PC and about 78 in the valley HOWEVER a stinkin different site says possible rain Friday / Sat.

Yes,the urge to pick on you in person is too irresistible

  I've changed out all the fluids recently,clutch,brakes,coolant,new tires mounted yesterday,clean lubed adjusted the chain,changing the oil Mon or Tues. The only thing that'll stop me at this point is rain. I reserved my room couple weeks ago knowing I could cancel if needed,that and to get what I wanted and not possibly only whats availably as the date got closer,paranoia that I've been without a room before or paid an inflated rate for something barely used,sucks. Don't worry Doyle,I'll go easy on ya

Hey gang, just got back from hwy 162 and it was AMAZING!!! New pavement like butter, NO TRAFFIC and very lil debris. Only downside is we probly wont be able to push through to Quincy but thats ok because we can just turn around and ride back down the butter track!
