If you were so lucky as to order your Busa and have it delivered, a hex mounting block will be mounted to the top of the triple clamp. If not, perhaps asking your sales rep at the dealership for a favor. Anyway, the shopping list is as follows:

Home Depot Shopping list:
1- hex block from dealership
2- 1-12mm 1.75 x 25 mm hex bolt,
3- 1 - #8-32 x3/8 flat head screw,
4- industrial velcro,
5- 1/2" washer,
6- sheet metal plate.

Insert the 12 mm screw and center punch, drill a pilot hole and then drill a larger #8 hole.

cut sheet metal plate to size desired and counter sink a centered hole. Velcro and remount. A lock washer may help to lock the plate down if not completely secured.

Good work, only thing you forgot was a larger hole to run your charge cord for those longer trips.

I just ran it off a battery charge, but an electrical hole would be a great idea. Of course an electrical source will have to be ran. Anyone have an electrical line suggestion?

the power cord is long enough that you can but a 12v power outlet in the trunk and run the cord under the seat and tank to the nuvi

yessir my suggestion is IF you have a battery tender, to get you a cig socket that plugs into the battery tender and just run your wire from the trunk... you can get cig socket kit from whitehorsepress.com

My worry would be the velcro failing from heat (sun) at some point rather than a bolt mount. Keep us posted on how it goes...
