Why cant brocks make the whole exhaust system titaniumFinally got the jewels on. It was my Valentine's gift to her. Hit 70 degrees today. I was sanding plastics all day and the pipe install this evening. My wife was very tolerant of my activities.

A couple of notes for guys who are doing this install. I am so far from being a decent mechanic. But somehow I get by. Helps if you have decent tools. I was advised to use a product called Anti-Seize lubricant by Permatex. It is supposed to make your life easier down the road if you have to take pipes off.
I took a picture of the springs because I would like to make a comment about them. The metal flanges have tiny holes in them to mount the springs. Do not..I repeat to those who are mentally deranged like myself...do not forget to put the springs in the back of the holes before putting bolts into the header. It is very difficult to get these springs into the back of these tiny little holes with the wiggle room involved. Had to take the bolts out of one of the flanges to install the springs and then reinstall.
Took a picture of the ball headed hex tool. I bought these about a month ago after reading some advice from some other guys for an install..Think I paid under 10 bucks at Harbor Freight. Never understood why they are so much better than a regular hex tool. For those who are woefully as ignorant as I am...here is its perfect application. If you look at the second picture of the header pipes with springs...header pipe 2 and 3 each have 2 bolts per pipe. With a hex headed ratchet tool there is not enough clearance to get the tool past the pipe and lined up correctly with the hole. With the ball headed hex tool you can insert the ball into the female receiving bolt and the darn thing allows you to swivel the head to line it up...how cool is that? Thank goodness I bought those ball headed hex tools or i don't know how I would've gotten those on...2hip
