You would have to be pretty short not to have to bend down to see itIt's a little tough to see. I have to get on my hands and knees to get that low. It's just below the oil filler cap. Keep going down, you'll find it.

Hold your bike upright as you sit on it. use a little mirror on a stick, piece of cake!Am i the only one that thinks they need to come up with a better way to check oil level ,,Lets see take right hand hold right bar end balance bike straight up try to lean down holding bike upright and pget a peak at that little window at rear of motor Man what a pain..or am i doing it the hard way??? go figure

well you are close:MAN-O-MAN. You all are doing it ALL wrong. 1. sit on the bike with it centered. 2. yell at your wife or girl friend to come help you 3. as she gets down on all fours to look at the sight glass, admire the view.
At least you don't have to depend on any mechanical devices on the bike - just look through the site glass. It's simpler than a gauge or idiot light.Am i the only one that thinks they need to come up with a better way to check oil level ,,Lets see take right hand hold right bar end balance bike straight up try to lean down holding bike upright and pget a peak at that little window at rear of motor Man what a pain..or am i doing it the hard way??? go figure
Will have to try that . Cheaper then stands and if something goes wrong its her fault i have to get a new bored over built up tubo'd motor.. ooopppsss Man, honey what a shame we ran it low on oil and it messed up you must not have read it right. Looks like the swimming pool is gonna have to wait we cant go to the mountains if the bike is down just have to go ahead and order that new motor with the bigger circular cooling fan mounted up front to help it breath it will last longer that way.. oh shucksMAN-O-MAN. Plus I use a flashlight to shine on the mirror if in a dark garage, etc, works great!I always have trouble checking it ... "mirror on a stick" sounds like a great idea, CCbusa05!
