Omg! Bump this, the dealer will get my money from now on!

How about buying a new oil pan and gasket and fixing it properly?...

oy! there are many degrees of fixed. if it was mine, or a customers... new oil pan and gasket.

oversized drain plugs might work...kinda. sealant might work...kinda. heck, they used to make a rubber plug that looked like a baby pacifier that you could stick in there.

if you fix it right you have peace of mind.

OK here is what I used and what it looks like on the bike.
Looking at the pictures of the plug installed it looks like I put the gasket maker silicone on the threads and then slipped on the washer.

I have had no leaks and everything seams fine. I hope this helps.

I don't think I would use loctite as that was not made to seal oil plugs that I know of.

Awesome that helps a lot, is that just an aluminum washer?
No, I believe that it is like a fiber washer, But I can't remember for sure.

Did you go and get another washer, and are you ready to start over and get it running by the end of the week?

I didn't, I had a date tonight (you gotta give me a pass for that :D) but I will get it for sure tomorrow!

Got my RTV, Aluminum washer, degreaser (Ajax soap) and I went to town. Cleaned the pan plug and threads real good, stuck a paper towel inside the hole to soak up the rest while I rtvd the small plug into the big plug and then the washer to the big plug, then checked the surface to ensure it was oil free before I rtvd the washer to the oil pan, torqued it to 16 ft lbs just to be safe and now we wait 24 hrs!

The oil is in and appears to be holding steady, if no drips on the paper towel tomorrow I am buttoning it back up and riding
