Online Retailers

can we have a tread with suggestions on online retailers not to buy from.

1. ridegear.com (canncled credit card because of no response from them.)
2. exoticsportbike.com (ordered from them may 9 and they had the part in stock, still going to be a couple of weeks from today to get in.)

any other sites i/we should stay away from?

I second and third that motion-----

buy from our TRUSTED sponsors first-
they know our busa needs better than anybody else I've dealt with and they are as reputable and trustworthy as they come in my opinion....

Never had much of a problem with bike part supplyers other than they never seem to know what they have in stock. Stay away from carparts.com in regards to car stuff, they suck and they have like 12 different websites (all the same phone number though, thats how to tell).

To cancel now and order from one of our sponsors won't work these people don't answer phones or emails to cancel the order...but the next thing i get will be from one of our offical sponsors.

Hi

I found http://www.motorcycletoystore.com/sport/index.php excellent. I bought a Yoshi R77 full system from them this month. Took 10 days from USA to me in NZ and 5 of those were taken getting through our NZ customs. Was going to take 3 weeks and cost $700 more to buy from my local NZ dealer.

Now the challenge is trying to fit it, getting that dam fairing off!!!!

our sponsors are great

Call your CC company and have them dispute the charge/stop paymnet. If you can't get a hold of them and they won't call you back, I sure as heck wouldn't give them any of my hard earned money. They sure don't want to earn your business doing what they are doing...

I would recommend staying away from ridegear.com. The idiots would not ship my order but charged my card

I don't think it is a good idea to diss vendors... Everyone has a bad day or screw up now and then. Sometimes the shipper can be the fault and other times the buyer is just in a flaming mood.

I would rather see vendors promoted or sponsors that you have had multiple good experiences with.

And remember, cheaper isn't always better.

Last place I bought was MrCycles.com. I believe they are a board sponsor. Even with freight, saved about 40% vs. the local dealer on my order of oil filters, etc.

Nice.

The shipping was a bit slow, but at least it wasn't promised one thing and then another happened. Pretty much met my expectations at every point along the way.
