On the GenII the F.I. light comes on when you remove the valve. How do I keep that light from not comming on? Do I just use a jumper wire at the connector?

If you aren't doing anything with that complete system,, I will take it off your hands! Seriously! As long as it is complete, bolts everything and undamaged? PM me

This mod does the same thing as the marble mod doesnt it? Or am I missing something? What sponsors sell the kit?

i havent found an answer yet, the best info ive got so far is that you have to install a resistor. what size i dunno.

Old thread but yea, if you stuff a marble in the hose at picture 1 and push it back on the air box.. you are done.. If you want to buy a kit? I will get an infomercial ready... now, who would a thought you could sell a marble for $19.95  (I have Italian or German made marbles, no extra cost)

No advantage to removing all the other plumbing and if you ever have to face a smog inspection, you have all the stuff in place..

$20.00 to get some extra unneeded piping off the bike? Seems like a deal to me.

Oh yea, and one more thing, when tuning your bike... you get a more accurate Fuel/Air reading w/ out that stupid AIR Injection setup installed. It was only made to pump air to the stock exhaust system. It's pretty much useless once you change the cans on your bike.

not so correct by my book.. it is not here in most places but I can promise you the time will come when you must have these "extra unnecessary" parts on the bike for emission inspection. I made thousands on cars when the crack down happened there.. Fuel tank restrictors, catalytic converters, AIR systems, carbon canisters were all inspected and if not in place, had to be replaced.. I got paid take them off and made at least 3 times more installing them again.. to save 2.5 lbs? kind of a joke but it does clean up an area you can not see.. and the 2.5 lbs? you can keep eating at Hardy's now..

you are only partially correct, it "could" affect the gas readings out the tail pipe but for the most part, wont affect tuning enough to make any difference....

This system has absolutely nothing to do with "cans"

It seems to me that this system was designed to trick emissions simply by pumping fresh air out of the exhaust to dillute smog and give lower emission readings. And before I simply meant, that the bikes components are pretty much jammed all around inside the plastics, so removing some "non needed" items is sure to help have one less thing get in my way while working on it. And as far as inspections, I'll keep the setup and slap it on when needed, it'll be tough, but I'm sure I'll sleep at night.

Very nicely done. Good lookin bike. Question: Has anybody chromed or can you buy chromed air intake grates next to the blinkers or blue anodized, etc??? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
