Make sure to use brake cleaner and a soft brush to get all that brake dust out of there and then put some brake slider lube on the sliders and piston faces......just a light sparing coat....
For certain.....and when you tried to put the caliper back onto the rotor, those being reversed would make it a real chore because the pads wouldn't spread far enough....They prevented the pads from sitting squarely.
The factory front Brembo calipers are even easier....Well, for what it’s worth, the shims are now oriented correctly.
Man, swapping pads on the rear of these is a snap. Great setup.
My brother had a Bultaco that looked very similar...it was a lot heavier than the modern trials bikes but it was really capable.....I've never tried trials. I've heard that it's super fun.
