I heard that it snowed heavy up high a couple nights ago. Gonna delay opening the passes I’ll bet.
I put the grab rail on and use its two bungee posts. I made up longer ones so the bungee or net hooks don’t touch the bodywork.
Hmm. Maybe a “spider web” over the top.
With all the travelling you do, you need a set of hard saddle bags or a bike that has them already like @c10 s BMW RS which is a pretty sporty looking ride and more than capable of taking you anywhere in comfort.
I need at least three bikes. Should pay off the house in three years. Maybe then.

Trade it for a BMW 1200S from the early/mid 2000's(The R has lower bars)
I sat on a friend's, which only had Heli-bars, and was extremely comfortable.
I could see riding it all day, and feeling like getting up from a comfortable chair.
It was actually his 2nd one, he missed one that he had so much.
It fit my 5'10" self better than any Busa ever could, in terms of comfort.
That bike was BMW's answer to the Busa actually, and it still comes very close in performance.
I'm not a BMW guy, but those are great bikes.

If I bought one I’d like this year’s model. Gorgeous bike. First year with Comstar wheels like the CBX so no more tube type tires on spoked rims. Now I love the look of spoked wheels, the
more the merrier but keeping them clean? Uh uh.

K1300S was the Busa competition but with manners and style . My R1250RS puncehs hard with it low weight and high tq 105lb but its no K bike or Busa . One thing though it carries corner speed and handles amazing so the only place a Bird or Prey is going to leave the RS in on the interstate .
