I was wondering if you were going to get hit. The ‘atmospheric river’ that was forecast never came, just some rain. Supposed to be more rain early next week but nothing like they predicted.

Just rain at the house. Not much wind thankfully. We just hired a new guy, so it's not just me this year. My brother is driving up from the bay area for the holiday. Hopefully the Siskiyou stays clear.

I'm getting old. My neck bothers me. The Ultimate Babe Magnetic came with Heli-bars. Someone recently mentioned a spacer to raise the bars additionally, but I can't find the post. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you have Heli-bars, finding a spacer is no longer an easy thing to do, as you need .75" and most spacers are 1"
1" is too tall when combined with Heli'bars, the bars will contact the inner windshield, and the hydraulic lines and wiring harnesses will be too short.
You can sucessfully do this with 4 round spacers vs a whole plate too.
Just be aware as you search, and I will look too.

You might find the superbike bar conversion to be more the way to go...

@sixpack577 @SSGT_B @c10 and many others had them on their bikes and swear by them....

Yeah, this is the best way to go.
I had them on my Gen2, and now have them on my '03 Gsxr1k.
It's just a top-clamp swap with longer clutch and brake lines, the wiring harnesses reach fine.
It's an easy install, and you can install multiple bar bends, just like a dirtbike.
