PDX GSX1300R

Did the annual oil change today. 3k miles this year. The magnetic drain plug on my KTM LC4 always looked like a metallic snow man. The Suzuki was clean.

Got ton of PTO. Thinking about three big rides this year: Southern Alaska, Northern California and Central Oregon. About a week apeice. We'll see.

With the Alaska idea, I am looking at either a straight up "out and back" ride or a ride up and ferry part of the way back idea. Both take about the same amount of time.

Hard to believe that I've had the bike for three years as of last November. Time flies.

I’ve had a similar thought but I figured the ferry first and then ride back.

I’ve got a nice shorty too. Works well on the fairing bolts. Once something else is loose it’s a great help. I was just wondering what the pliers were for, changing the oil.

I planned that trip a couple times and never did it as I really wanted to do the long ride to Fairbanks and the Denali Park and maybe all the way down to Homer to take a harbor ice cliff calving boat tour. Never pulled that trigger either.

There are simply too many options in life. The trip to Hyder is a commitment of time. Not sure. At some point I’ll have to pull the trigger.

I admire the ground you have covered on your Suzuki. Must have seen some wonderful sights.
