So now that you have hit the 10k mark please do tell. How has the journey been thus far. Any notable issues, challenges we should be watching out for. Tire wear, throttle response, riding position, maintenance challenges- please do tell - cheers

First negative post on my G3, for some reason my G3 went 27181 miles on the factory plugs and air filter. What a nightmare to replace the air filter and plugs. Use to remove two Allen bolts and prop the tank out of the way. No information available, the manual is worthless, contact dealer….
I did more work to raise the tank than I did to change parts on G1 and G2. Got the plenum top off and managed to remove filter. Figured out all the work required to remove plenum and right or wrong decided to remove fuel tank. Removed hinge pin, pain in the behind. Removed stacks, some hoses and plenum, actually just moved it out of the way. Changed plugs, put it back together. Plugs were shot, filter was shot. Everything’s back to normal now.

I came from a GSXR1000 and talk a bout night and day to get the tank up. Ive had the fairings off so many times now that its in my sleep easy. First times always a learning experience.
