Pictures from Don's funeral

Thanks for sharing, Cap. Very respectful and I know Don was smiling at the pics. I wish I could have been there to pay my respects; thanks to all those that made it. Thoughts and Prayers out to Sherry and the Family.

I spent 10 years serving my country and I have buried my second friend with Military Honors...can't tell you how hard it is to watch a wife receive the flag. Sherry, I have no words.

Love ya Don, you will be missed.

Charlie

After 25 years and retirement, it was hard for me too; I've had to give that speech before. This time, I was not in uniform but I saluted anyway hard habit not to break and wanted to pay my respects they way I felt best at it.

Thanks Cap, very sad indeed, RIP Don you will be missed.

Well done CAP !!!!!!!!!!

You know I Never met the Man but after Reading All the Threads about his Life........He Inspired Me to be a Better Man........Thank you DON for my Freedom :bowdown:

May the Good Lord Bless you and Family :please:

Thank You to Mr. Don Williams for sharing your life and spirit with so many in a positive way! Thanks to all that were there to represent the org. and be there for Don's family. Thank you for the pictures and captions... R.I.P.

Thank you to everyone that could make it there to say goodbye to a friend where we couldn't. Thank you, Cap, for helping the rest of us see vicariously through the cameras eye. It means a lot more than words can express. Don would have been extremely proud.

I never have the opportunity to meet Don in person but I believe he's smiling ear to ear when the pix was taken.

Did anyone else notice the "orb" in this picture? Perhaps Don was smiling ear to ear IN this picture.

Man,

I would be lying if I said I did not have wattery eyes reading this thread and viewing the pictures. It really touched a part of me.

Im based out of Toronto , Canada so no way I could have made it up there, but, the turnout is really heartwarming and felt.

I could only hope that one day I could be remembered in such a way if anything like this happened to me.

Its strange how all could be well, and then, your life taken from you in an instant. As strong as we are through the hardships we endure daily and the strength we have to fightback in our lives, we are still so delicate and frail in a way.

My condolences to the family , strength and honor to all the board members.

We will all see you someday in BUSA heaven Don.

Great pics - and so many familiar faces - would have been awesome if it hadn't been under the circumstances; but the group lean? CLASSIC. Don would have been right in the middle of that!

thanks for posting. the bikes overlooking the cemetary are some sobering pics. looked to be an awesome service:bowdown:
