When I bought the bike in 2005, there was no one offering insurance for it in Miami at the time due to the type of bike and the high risk factor. No one in Miami wanted to insure a Busa. :-( Now there are a few choices. I should finally look into this and be on the safe side.
i just quoted 3 places (progessive and geico)... they both want 4.5k a year (paid in full)... and state farm turned me out... 26 male, no record... go figure.
About a year ago, I started getting the looks from the Ricer's in the Walmart parking lots. Then I would see them cruising the mall parking lots slowing down by sportbike's for a looksie. Then I got on the phone and changed mine to max coverage..... :oldcool:
Paranoid ????....maybe, but in Vegas the things you love the most become the property of some non-working pr!ck with an impulse control problem. Progressive is your Hayabusa friend for about $50 / month. It goes, and I pay the deductible and get an 09'.
