POST BASH TRAGEDY

Yeah, I read them...glad someone spoke up because 1) someone's lost their life on the Dragon and he's got family and friends suffering right now and 2) I've seen far more dangers to my riding there in the way of cars and trucks, so pegging this all on ALL sport bikers is the crap we all live with now when things like this happen...

Yeah I know, but since he's online, he's good...I don't think it was him I saw running alone...when I saw the '08 riding alone, I was thinking "wow, he's missing out because he's not hanging with the Busa gang"...

Does it really matter if he was a member here,regardless a 21 yr old kid lost his life doing what we all enjoy doing.guys that ride these roads like pro Bike racers are just asking for trouble,we cant control the condition of the roads and they can change by the second (eg: car leaking fluids on road).ppl,if you want to ride like that then go on a closed course otherwise we may be reading about you someday.
That wasn't the point...we all hate to hear that any rider went down and lost his life, but it would be especially tragic if it's someone many of us just hung out with...
We're just trying to make sure the crew that met up there are all accounted for, and that doesn't diminish at all from the fact that we've lost yet another Busa rider...it's tragic no matter what...
Yep, he posted this morning in random...he's not logged in now, but he was earlier, so he's OK as far as I can tell...
Tim(WarbirdII) saved my K8 at the photoshoot, the guy with the orange K8(next to Tim) dropped his. I thought "OH SHI" here goes the domino effect.

From what I see on East Tn Riders forum, it was right in front of is family. Keep in mind this is hearsay.
The accident happend between mile marker 3 and 4. There is a decent straight there, followed by some VERY tight and technical turns.
I will see if I can get some more info from the ETR board.....
