Crashing at the gap

I hated to see your bike rashed up; I saw you unloading it at CROT before you'd made your presence known to the Busa gang...beautiful bike, glad it can be fixed and SO glad you're OK...

What happened to you is one reason I had to make the long trek from VA to the Dragon twice before I was willing to run it. I have faith that I can make the run in my lane, but far too many others don't, including other bikes, a truck or a car. I think the Dragon's biggest dangers lie with the other guys coming your way in your lane...

I know it doesn't help much, but it could have been so much worse...get things back together and I hope we see that custom paint again next year at Deal's Gap

Glad you are O.K. I would rather lay my bike down too rather than see it go over the the side of the road and down the cliff.........

Hope you get her fixed soon. I LOVED that paint scheme on your bike.

You did the right thing in a crappy situation. Unfortunately for you, this could have been prevented easily if the other rider was riding in his limits. Just sucks that you had to make that decision because of his error. But on the plus side, that is some good heads up riding and split decision making.

Hey guys and girls, the bike will be in the booth friday night. Had to wait a couple days to let the primer settle and ended up having to reprime it today to fill in some low spots.
As for my buddy, He will be allright guess nothing did break after all or he just dont want to go to the docs. Guess i get to start fixing his next week. Shouldnt take to long.

Thanks Whitele for the pix, i didnt take any before i started to fix it now i can add it to the collection.

It was awsome to meet the rest of this Busa family, thats why i will be going back in the fall. I will probley have the same paint scheme going then, kinda like this one. My buddie bikes will all be different by then. I have a whole list of bike to do before then.

I wished I knew somebody like you who would fix my bike if I crashed it. You're a good dude.

Glad to see you came out of it ok and the bike was in great shape after a slide!!! Glad to see it was minor damage. The dragon is a scary yet exciting road. Any crash with that minor of damage to your bike and no injury to you shows you "made the right choice". Last year, I had a scary experience with a bus in my lane on a blind corner.
