first off, i just want to say I LOVE BEER
i'm lucky enough to travel quite a bit, and trying new beers of the world is something i take great pleasure in.
now that thats out of the way, for an everday available beer, i like sam adams boston lager. it's about as good a beer as you'll find at your average applebees, fridays, etc. Sam Oktoberfest is good when it starts showing up on tap as well. Spaten and Paulaner also make good Okto's.
any time i go through germany, i always pick up a couple cases of 1878. if i get to go through ireland, i always try to have a beamish red. and if i'm on the east coast, i prefer yuenglueng, or however you spell it.
beyond that, i'm on a quest to try every IPA i can find. you truely have to be a beer lover to appreciate good IPAs, and damn do i love me some IPA. some of my favorites are Racer5, Pyramid, and Flying Dog.
