PUT UP OR SHUT UP!THE FACTS OF THE AIRBOX MOD

Motorhead, Whats up? Your too busy bickering with all the non-believers to answer my post?

Remember the customer is always right. Even potential customers.

no mr busa actually i have been in the hospital.i had my cousin posting and answering my mail for the last several days.but also i get sick of needing to show credentials for such a common sense cheap mod.i realy only do the boxes out of respect for fellow busa riders so they don't miss out on the best mod period.i could care a less if i do them as long as they are done correctly.it just way to good and way to cheap.hell i had fun spanking strapped piped busas with a stock piped unstrapped one.ask anyone who i talk to or comes to my shop i'll tell them how to make the bike faster and hey if they want me to do it fine as long as they have an open mind.think about it.i spent 20grand on a dyno to tell me and all of you what works and have dyno charts and et slips to prove it.then i post on how to do it.so there is nothing in it for me but the fact that if i help you save time and money ,hell i feel good.i know i ride too.i put myself in your shoes thats all.what good does it do me to hoard information?none, but it helps you if i share it.i mean for all the flack i get i wonder why i even post about it.because one of you will listen to lil ol me and make his bike better.that's why i do it.

MotorHead,

Could you just answer the question about how the bike runs in the lower RPM's with the mod?

It's pretty obvious that the mod works and works well in the mid to upper RPM ranges, but I would like to know how it affects the lower, around the block, RPM range...like 3000 and below?

Thanks in advance.

when remapped with the box mod .you'll notice a much improved bike at every rpm.throttle response hp torque etc.you got 1300 ccs to pull you.

Are there any pictures of your airbox? I did the full box mod about 7 or 8 months ago. I modified a stock 98 zx9 air filter to fit. What kind of filter are you using?
