Which one do I get, where and how do I mount it, do I get wireless or hardwire it to the bike? So many questions to answer and so many alternatives. Thanks guys for the input and suggestions!

NO, not the dark tinted, mirrired or colored windscreens.

The light smoke - yes - maybe, but it will be seriously reduced in its reliability if it does work.

Laser is LIGHT. If you can't easily SEE through it, then laser will not go through it and your detector won't pick it up. It must see it DIRECTLY since light only travels in a straight line.
