Ran over a rabbit last night

I live on a long twisty road. I was ripping down it last night and had a rabbit run out in front of me in a 90 degree corner, knee out, doing 40. I thought back to my motorcycle license course where they told me to throttle through a small animal. I gripped a little throttle and ran him over. Too bad for him, but I made it out without issue. Just a little head shake. Scared the crap out of me. If I had grabbed the brakes like I wanted to, I would probably be telling you I wrecked my bike last night.

Every day on a bike is an adventure.

I hit an armidillo or whoever you spell it doing 90-110mph one night....felt like a ran over a 100 dumbell....almost kicked me off the bike

Hit a pigeon once driving back from Tucson in a Mustang GT. He came in from the drivers side and I didn't see him come out the other side or any feathers go flying. I just thought I ran him over and that was it. It wasn't until I stopped for gas and saw the god awful look on this woman's face. The pigeon ended up getting harpooned by the mustang emblem that is in the grill of the car. It was sure fun cleaning up that little mess!!

Once I hit a skunk with my car (the animal.. not a drunk... hahaha).. I was about 100 mph, and with the hit, the skunk messed up the whole parking brake system of the car... It was a sad and expensive experience....

You gotta watch out for those hare-pin turns.

Shhh...I'm hunting wabbits....

Take a cruise through Wyoming. I think they have more jackrabbits than people.

Final Score:
Hayabusa - 4
Jackrabbits - 0

The roads are full of stupid creatures around here (both animal and human).
Banged my right knee off of a deer's hindquarters one morning down in the twisties. Squirells are the main critter you see in the roads locally. Oops.

Glad you made, glad you pulled the trigger on him, I love animals too but I love me a little bit more. I have to pull the trigger on several dogs, it sucks but better that the alternative.

I need to stop posting from my mobile device, when I read it later it looks like I have had one major malfunction in the head.

Glad you didn't go down . I heard that if you can eat it in one sitting than it's safe to run it over with the bike. The only thing I got on the busa was a squirrel. But a small bird took a ride from Mountauk point LI to CT stuck in the grille of my 89 chevy pick up I owned e few year's ago.
