I can't believe I took the time to do this.  First I meditated and summoned all 5'7" 155 lbs of strength.  Then I dug out my ancient panasonic camcorder and shot the video.  Popped the "C" tape in the VHS adapter which then went into the old VCR and ran a 15' patch cord to my PC's video card.  Resized it down from 138 megs.  Needless to say I'm not up to date on the latest video equipment and things are a bit washed out and wobbly, but I think it gets the point across.

This is the first time I've ever put any kind of video online so let me know if it works!

Oh man George... you're the man! So I dragged my 6'2" 230lbs body outside to the garage and tried it. Everything was going fine until I moved to the back of the bike for the lift. To my horror, my Busa started tipping to the right and I couldn't save it! I immediately thought of tossing myself under the bike to break the fall, but it all happened so fast that I didn't have time. The worst part was when I went to pick her up, I lost my grip and she fell again and the bottom of the gas tank caught me on my left calf and cut me all the way down to my achilles tenden. I was bleeding so badly that I ended up having my wife take me to the hospital. 13 stiches! All the time I'm saying to myself... "That damn 155lb George must have used some trick videography".

Only kidding... I haven't tried it yet but I'm very impressed and thanks for taking the time to show us wimps how it's done!

For a second there I thought I was going to be named in a lawsuit.

Make sure the hooks are lined up on the spools and once you have downward pressure on the stand the bike should be stable. Believe it or not a bit of WD40 sprayed on the spools and stand hooks just before lifting makes things go 100X easier.

I've never tried the "pad type" of stand that just pushes up on a swingarm without the use of spools. For that type of stand I'd definitely have someone standing by just in case.

If anybody needs a training video on how the front stand works, just let me know!
