Regardless of which political party you endorse this SEC bailout is sickening. Yes, we the taxpayer will bail this mess out while a chosen few made off with millions. It's a sad day for the tax paying citizens.
To further the pain the auto companies will be next in line. It's funny how Toyota can bring manufacturing to the States, create jobs (including out sourcing) create tax revenue and build a product consumers want.
US auto makers cry wolf when they themselves postponed fuel efficient cars, emission standards and lobbied for years toward favoring themselves. Now that they are in the tank they ask us, the general public who they have been shafting for years, to bail them out.
I say close the doors and goodbye to the junk they built.
Yes, this is happening under Bush's watch but these people ignored the problems forth coming and still they are not held responsible.
