i not sure about selling Quebec to the French?
As a French Canadian, I don't think you understand US,
you can't rely on stuff you see on the news and read in the papers.
I know Quebec and Canada look bad, but the US look bad too in Canada and in Europe.
The reason why I moved to the US is for the weather and the money. But still I should have made it to the SW, not the NE
Besides that, I approve you candidature
We Sell Quebec back to the French, otherwise we're all drinking Molsen...
As an American I was being serious. But let me explain why, my understanding of Quebec and a majority of it's peeps is that they want their Independance. I was saying fine and dandy... See ya later.
Not trying to offend just being to the point. I mean we could hardley tell Puerto Rico to get bent without letting Quebec set it's own course. Make sense?
Which does bring up Puerto Rico. They wan't social Security numbers and freedom to move around but they fight statehood.. Cool, your Independant, your no longer a Territory of the US. Your free to do as you please.
---You said I know Quebec and Canada look bad, but the US look bad too in Canada and in Europe.
I dunno what your on about here Bro. Canada Looks bad to whom? Now I will admit to not fully trusting Canadians, they are all too happy and friendly, just lulling us into complacency, damn shifty Northern Buggers... But that is just me so far as I know.
Over all, I have allways believed Canada to be highly regarded and respected as a country. Damn if only the US had managed to keep it's nose as clean.... So Truly I am ignorant of any negative world view of Canada... Hell I love you guys... You have Polar Bears, Carribou (SP), Hot Women, cold beer, and MonsterSpeedFreak!!! Tell me, What's not to love?

Quebec wants to separate?
Not Quebec, just some idiots how thinks that they are getting bent over by the Feds. And they think that they have a strong enough economy to survive (NOT).
It's funny, but everytime I meet someone and I tell them I am from Quebec they say: you want to separate? I don't know anyone who wants too! Maybe because I didn't hang out with the wrong people.
I happend to watch the Oreilly Factor (no comment) and he always bashes Canada (or Chretien). Of course, when you look at Chretien (our ex-PM) it did not look good. Back to Oreilly. He always blame Canadian for every step they make. And he is often wrong. For example: I blame the canadian doctor association to have abortion course manditory at the University. He said it promotes abortion. Not because you know how to do it, you have to practice it. For any reason, if it needs to be done, I would think that ant women would like to get a doctor how knows his shid. While he is saying that, in 1995 U.S. 1,210,883 abortion while Canada 70,549 legal abortions.(
http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0004397.html) Of course the population of Canada is 10X less than the US but look at the numbers. Come ON! And people eat that shid.
Same thing for pot, medicine, mad cow disease etc...
In general, the media spins everything and that influence people opinion instead of judging by experience which is not always possible.
I am not trying to get anywhere, I just get jumpy when someone say bad things about Canada.
I still think you have a good campaign outline
Hummmm, Caribou (the perfect drink to keep you warm while watching the Winter Carnival Parade at 40 below zero!)

Mostly I was thinking that together, US and Canada could really strengthen one another. I wouldn't expect a lot of Canadians or Americans to support this position really but I just think a Union could do both some good. basically you all provide the Summer homes and we'll provide the Wintering homes.
I am seriously un-aware of any bad politics regarding our countries really. Excpet that american Factories and cities pollute the hell outta your pristine forests. but hopefully we have that handled now?
If not it will be.
I wonder what would happen if like Europe, we joined financially and settled on one common currency??? Would that be good or bad? And for who? Would it provide benefit for all or screw a whole lot of people?
I dunno... Might be a real bad idea, cutting the American Strip Mall hell loose on Canada... things might be best left as is...
Still though I dunno if you all can be trusted... Your Awfully quite up there...
Have a good one man, hope I didn't offend, I'm just fuggin around...
