Riding and Cagers

Just back from a little ride on ST RD 44 about 25 miles south of Indy.Has every kinda of curve you can amagine.Alot of blind spots, really keeps ya on your toes.Coming upon this tiny town you approach a hill and after the hill is a hard left then hard right.Well just before the hill a road comes in at an angle. These 2 little kids in the car just pull out, actually they never stopped, they just ran through the stop sign without looking at all.Luckily I was slowing down anyway for the blind turn after the hill. After they got out in the lane I was like 5ft off their bumper.About 200yards through the turns the little bastid hits his right signal. He pulled out in front of me for this!!!Down shifted twice and passed him.
The moral of the story is........if ya gonna pull out in front of someone on a bike with a 4-2-1 exhaust, keep your window rolled up.Your ears will thank you.
I wander if he thinks my muzzy is loud when I punched it?
At a normal pass I will let off before a drivers window, just being nice. But not for an idiot.

I hate that. I can't tell you how many times I've been cut off with nobody behind me, both riding and caging, by someone who is only going a block or two. Why the selfish bastids can't wait another few seconds to pull out is beyond me.

Ive got straight exhaust and ride at low rpms in and out of my neighborhood so the neighbors dont hate me. But On the thruway its fair game. When a cager drifts when im next to them I sqeeze the clutch and give them a full blast. Works every time. I love to watch em jump. Maybe next time the will look twice.

Me too. Straights are the only way to go.

I used to never believe the "loud pipes save lives" theories, but I have actively applied them many times since I went to the straights.

Wow, do I ever know what you mean ProudDad, I am gonna rev the snot out of this thing tommorrow, believe you me! Good on ya, i hope they shat themselves right there

Thank god you weren't a few seconds earlier !!! I love going out in the country, because there's so much traffic here, but the people who drive those roads all the time are too used no other cars. So they don't even look half the time, or stop, just assume there's never anyone out here on this road !!

This happens to me all the time to, and from work. With dump trucks, nobody behind me, and they still pull out at a whopping 5 mph !!

Same thing happens to me, yesterday I was pulling through an intersection and the guy in the lane next to me changes lanes in front of me in the intersection just to slam on his brakes to make a right hand turn right after the intersection. Oh did I mention his brake lights didn't work. I was pissed!
