I have several pairs of boots. The pair I use depends on the type of riding and the weather.

The 2 most important things about boots are 1) Ankle protection and 2) Abrasion resistance.

i have Oxtars and Sidis and wear them about 99.9% of the time...they both run fairly true to size and are pretty comfortable once you break them in :beerchug:

I've got a pair of sidi streetburners, size 11, good fit, comfortable even though I've got bad feet.

Water proof Styl Martins

I where Sidi Doha on a day to day commute or quick run to town. If going on all day ride with plans on getting aggressive I wear Sidi Street Burners. I love my Sidi.

Sidi Vertebra's for commuting and general knocking about stuff, Sidi Adventure boots for winter and Oxtar, Haga replicas (they're vented) for summer.

Best regards Stretch :beerchug:

Icon SUPER DUTY 4 BOOT is what I use, bought it after a friend who wears a pair went down, the side of the boot was ground down and from what i saw this dude should not have a foot, his foot got caught under the bike in the fall

I have 3 different Icon boots and a pair of Sidi's. have to check the model. Got the Sidi's 2 years ago and have not worn the Icons since. I put my wife in a pair of AStars. I always wear the Sidi's.

I have these same boots and I love them. Still have plenty of ankle support even tho they are low cut and very durable. Comfortable as well.
But I have been looking at purchusing a pair of Black and Red Sidi's like GEORGIABUSA_05 has in his pic, for when i get back and can hit the twisties on a regular.
They look like they have tons of protection and they look good as well. Black and Red....nuff said!!

i have a pair of sidi vertigo airs. i have had them since 2007. saved my leg once when the bike flipped in the air after a superman and landed right on my leg. I will never own another brand ever. Not the most comfy to walk in but ok. to ride in they are great. comfy and terrific feedback.

My everyday toss ons are Icon Motorhead cruiser boots. Comfy, easy on and off. Survived almost six years so far and a getoff.

But what I wear to the twisties are Sidi Corsa Vertigos. Love em, comfy, sizing was spot on and been durable. Even comfortable to walk around in.

I have the Sidi Vertigo's size HUGE 50 I think. They could be one size bigger but nobody makes a boot bigger that I have found. After I have broke them in they are comfortable to wear all day riding and walking. They are NOT the air version but I still love them and where them all the time. I have NOT crash tested them and do not plan on doing so, but then most of us never plan on crash testing our gear.
I have crash tested New Balance sneakers on the Harley and can say that they DO NOT offer much protection when you go down.

I will stick witht he Sidi even though I have been told that the AStars run a little big. I have not found anyone around me that carries the AStars in a 50 for me to try on so I refuse to buy them since I love my Sidi's.
