1) AGV / Suzuki red / black 05' Hayabusa leather upper (non-perforated).

Recommendations ?.......

Get your leather uppers as tight as is practical, as there is less of a road-rash potential when the leather hits asphalt at speed. I mean, "inside" the jacket. The leather on the outside will take the brunt of the asphalt. Inside you want as little movement as possible. "Just an opinion".......

Try everything on, don't buy online unless you know, for sure, what size, make, and style you're purchasing. I went through this with the AGV / Suzuki jacket, but they allowed me to return / replace for the size smaller that I needed.

Lastly don't sell yourself short on anything. A lot of the manufacturers make decent gear nowadays. Make sure you buy a quality helmet, hand gear, and foot gear that covers, and protects your ankles. "Just another opinion".........

Materials

?:

Textiles, and leathers are the strongest. Mesh tears, but with armour, has some protective qualities. You make the call !!.

By the way, Diesel you just had to put Amy in there didn't ya ?. Well all I have to say to that is, "Thank-ya....thank-ya very mushhhhhh........".

(BigDiesel @ Feb. 05 2007,18:11) I like Icon. their Skull Motorhead saved my butt with minimal dmg. to the jacket too...rolled of my Busa doing a 12 o'clock n landed on my rt shoulder-just kept rolling till I wound up on my feet n I was up-barely scratched my knee n one wrist. Great jacket even hot-it has 6 vents and full perf. underarms with a full-sleeved zipout quilted liner...great coat man-been through 5-6 rainstorms n some snow too (wore it all last winter) n still looks fantastic-no fading at all.

WELL I'LL BACK JAYSLAMM UP IN S.C. I HAVE A JOE ROCKET BALLISTIC FOR COLD AND A MESH LEATHER FOR SUMMER NIGHTS JUST HAVE TO SEE WHAT WORKS BEST

Knowing Indiana summers as I do, you are going to want to go with two jackets. A leather and a textile or mesh! Leather will kill you on those 90 plus degree days with 100% humidity and the mesh will let the air through adn the armor will still offer some level of protection.

PS. Indiana from 1974-2006 and still have a home there!
