ROADTOAD's new ride

The barn finds and rare stored classics of yesteryear are always cool to see...but to me a shame not drive something, at least occasionally.
To each their own, but I would rather ride or drive something, vs look at it sitting in a building...even though I have parked a bike or two in my living room at a few of places, lol
Hi. I only wish I could park my bike in yhe house.

The Michelins feel very light on the rim , now just got to fit them . Hard to believe they are legal , looking at them now .
A pic of the special K's , including Gustave KTM , parked away from the bunch of Killer Saki's . I will fit the wheels on Kato as soon as I can now .

Are you planning to upgrade the brakes on these Andrew ~ or does the Kawasaki equipment work just fine stock ? •

That Brickworks meetup looks like it was fun. Wish I had something similar close by. I suppose to get in the loop you'd have to be on facechook or something.

Andrew , are you planning to send your zx14r down the road ~ now that you have been exposed to H2 boost ? •

I took my rr out wednesday to blow the cobwebs out, boy it felt light and responsive compared to the busa. My leg ached the moment I threw it over and after 10 minutes was throbbing, my knee going stiff. I pulled up at a T junction and got the bike on the stand (EDIT: not easy when ya right leg is as weak as a kitten ), then got off and torturously stretched that leg. I hung around for another 15 minutes, 2 smokes, then rode home. Bloody leg. Bloody old age!

You got to get that peg thing happening bro , to give yourself half a chance at enjoying the ride . That BMW is a great bike to keep along side your Busa , I know how potent they are , well worth sorting out the ride position .

Did I mention on the forum that my leg came good? Middle of last year, or earlier? Turns out sleeping with a leg pillow under my knee was the cause. I also do some isometric knee lifts, while standing, and that has helped a lot too. Now I can ride the RR for an hour with no pain and hardly any stiffness once I get off. I know a lot of people modify the pegs, the bars, and the seat to get a more comfortable ride but to me that is the easy way out and you end up with a bike that doesn't ride the way it was intended to. Imagine putting Ape Hangers and a sissy bar on a Busa
