Rode the S1000RR

I rode the one at the local dealer a couple weeks ago. Very soft bottom and mid but my god what a top end hit! I loved it...everything feels so precise and crisp. It felt lighter than my wifes 08 GSXR 750 and faster than my 08 Busa. Would love to have one as a second bike.

Its too skinny for me and it has that racer-boy look to it. I'll just keep my Busa and maybe do a mild turbo eventually to keep it up to date.

Just did some research..... wth is up with the headlights?!?!?!

Other than that the bike looks flat out nasty, and the performance seems just as killer!!!

Got to give props to the Germans.

All you can say is "wow"? Either you are still speachless, or you just like keeping us in suspense!:moon:

From what I hear. Around $16K would put you on one. That's a lot of money for a stock bike you'll end up spending more to customise anyway. I would rather put the extra money into the Busa and see where I end up. It is a very sweet ride though!

here is another pic i took of the one I rode. and yes, WOW! What else do ya need for 16000. It has race ABS and dynamic traction control, $1480, gear shift assist,$450. Wet weight is 449.7 lbs. 193 hp @ 13000rpm. The BMW stamped Akro can will set ya back another $2000. not sure how much $$$ they had in carbon fiber on the one I rode but it sure was sweet. :D The price without all the options is $13800.
