Not suprising, as that is really high rpm for any gen Busa engine...not to mention boost.
It's a wonder it didn't grenade.

I used 11500 rpm at shift, no problems. Got APE 47lbs springs this far, with stock valves. Now upgraded to +1mm stainless valves with kibblewhite springs (68lbs?). I used FT auto shift , it shifted gear exactly at the RPM asked (+-10 RPM).
I think it's the hard RPM limiter to hover the valve, and lift collet.

Got all the parts for engine rebuild this week. Just waiting an inspiration to put everything together again.
Ordered a Input Expander from FuelTech, so it's a full electric rebuild ... Just to clean the wires from front subframe.

Those were also just shimmed factory valve springs. That's why I'm using Carpenter valve springs in mine.
