Saddlesore BW and semi

did they finish the construction on I55 right around senatobia? kinda hairy @ night there.

no they haven't...thankfully, it stopped raining just before we got back up into that section but it still wasn't much fun...that and all the deer standing on the side of the road between Winona and Vaiden on the way down while it was still dry made it very interesting

bambi has been out in force lately.

i was running down the 55 from tunica to HWY 4 with wife and fasha-n-law. they were out right there and the road was terrible. definite pucker factor

You two are real "close" aren't you?

yep, along with a host of other friends i have made on this site...i consider myself extremely blessed to have met and been accepted by the great folks around here :beerchug:

  CONGRADS

:cheerleader: :cheerleader: :cheerleader:

:welcome: TO the Club :beerchug:

thank you very much Sir, i really appreciate your help and advice...i have a lot of respect for guys like you and Warchild who do this kind of ride all the time

Good on ya guys  That is some serious azz seat time! I couldn't do it.

thanks...i think anyone could do it if they really wanted as long as they didn't have physical issues like back problems, etc...there is no way i could have done this a couple years ago either but i just kept taking longer and longer trips and built up to it :beerchug:

CONGRATS TO BOTH OF YOU THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AN AWESOME RIDE:thumbsup:

thank you :beerchug: it was definitely worth it...i'm not as sore as i thought i was going to be other than my right hand and wrist, they are stiff and a little swollen due to me not having a cruise control at the moment...my Throttlemeister wore out on my way to DocDrop and Busa Jules' for the weekend of July 4th so i just have an o-ring shoved in there for the time being (i know that is not the safest thing to do so please don't yell at me  )...i go my last piece for the Audiovox cruise in this past week so it will make these kinds of runs much easier once it is installed

Just got done taking a nap. Something I would recommend is getting some sleep before starting. That was my plan, but it didn't happen that way. I normally ride sun up to sun down. This ride was sun down to sun up. I had been up 10 hours before starting the ride, 32 hours straight by the time I got to bed.

Thanks everyone. semi has done a good job with the replies. My shoulders are a little stiff from leaning on the bars when I got tired. Other than that, I'm good to go again. Want to make it a Barn Burner 1500? KS and back tonight would do it. Time to go to bed. I have to work in the morning.
