You guys are more than welcome to do a run up here then take a nap for ac ouple hours then head back

You guys missed my Bixby run today ! 3 bikes went down according to some guys I ran into at the Potosi Amoco. Sounds like you had a good ride ! :beerchug: Info on the crash should be on S.L.A.R. web site.

thanks bro :beerchug: do you feel the itch to try it? have i tempted you to push the envelope? you want to, don't you?

I think i might one of these days, it sure sounds fun.

glad to hear you got out for a ride :beerchug: that's why i don't ride with them, every run ends with loss of skin and twisted metal...i don't regret any time on the side of the road helping a brother or sister but i don't want every ride to end like that!

that's not what you are thinking when you still have 300 miles to go but the feeling when you roll your bike back in the garage is awesome :beerchug:

Well it looks like a great time and the kind of long distance riding I enjoy. So far, the ride from SoCal to the Spring bash last year was the longest I'd done and was lucky to have my own brother from another mother along for a good stretch of it. I am sure that I accomplished at least one of the IronButt challenges on that ride.

+1. Guys on 600s and 750s treating the road like a racetrack with open invitation to anyone who wants to ride along. They are a great bunch of guys, just not the type of riding I want to do.

Dennis..I'm not opposed to "tankfull to tankfull", just not while i'm on VACATION!!
Great job guys!

Good on you guys. I knew ya'll were going on a long ride but didn't know where. My Wife and Mrs BusaWhipped are farming buddys on Facebook and my Wife told me a little about ya'lls iron butt ride. I don't think my joints could hold out on a ride like that. Ya'll got stamina.

Holy cow! Semi and Busawhipped :bowdown:

Great job buddy's! Love that shot of all the bugs on your helmet/visor, Dennis.

I want no part of that, I could never make it, well unless you made it a 3 day trip, just too whimpy!!

Just got the info on the crash yesterday. It was not the STLAR guys that went down, it was 3 guys from the ZX-10r group that were also headed to Bixby. Its a very popular route because of a of the twisties between Potosi and Bixby. There were 3 different groups that left out of the same starting point riding the same route. All 3 will fully recover, but the season is over for at least 2 of them.
