Thanks, I appreciate it.

I finished fiberglassing some belt covers for the car last night. Just need to clean them up and paint them now. Hopefully I can have a video for your guys in the near future.

Everything is finished and done. Had a few set backs with all the running gear. Regardless, it successfully handled a 100mph run down the beach even without the pulleys being hard anodized or the steel shafts hardened. The reverse box also worked out flawlessly.

I just got the aluminum back from the anodizer and the steel back from the heat treaters. Last thing that I need to do is to make a couple skid plates to protect the pulleys since they sit lower than the frame by a half inch.

Pics to follow next week.

Finally took it out yesterday (tough to head to the cold beach when the warm lake is calling your name). Ripped the skid plate off of it after about 3 minutes..lol, so next Monday I'll take it back out with a new and improved skid plate mount

I plan on having a gopro front and back to watch the suspension and the belts in action. Next week should be fun.

Yeah, I have some gopro videos but I am dealing with some weird distortion due to the vibration I am assuming. I bought a bar clamp that I plan on using. Initially I had it affixed to the panel via the suction cup mount.

I took it apart last weekend due to a bearing noise and it indeed ate a drive bearing. I may have had the belts too tight, so I am going to try a little less belt tension this next time.

If anybody is in the Pismo Beach area, let me know and I'll take you for a ride. I am running out of people who voluntarily get into the passenger seat...lol

Geez, time flies. Got the drives back together and look forward to taking it out soon. All this California rain though has kept me parked indoors. In the next two weeks I hope to have some video up.

I lost my gopro camera to the depths of the lake, so video is out of the question until I buy (another) one. Apparently they don't float (who'da thought) lol.

Here is a picture from yesterday.

I am really liking my drive system. So far it has handled the horsepower very well, and hasn't shown too many signs of wear.
